If you'd like to find out more about the differences among Christian churches - the differences between Christianity and other religions - what the Bible REALLY says about different crucial topics - and have an opportunity to ask ALL the questions you've ever had about God/the Bible/eternity/life/death/etc. THEN OUR FOUNDATIONS CLASS IS FOR YOU!!!

This class is for those who have never seen a Bible before and know nothing of Jesus, and also for those who have been life-long believers. Everyone will benefit from this free, no obligation course on the teachings of God's Word.

This is very important because Jesus himself said: "If you hold to my teachings, then you are truly my disciples, then you will know the Truth - and the truth will set you free!" (John 8:31-32)

Community Casserole

Third Saturday of the month - 12:00 noon

This new program gives our community a chance to learn new recipes, or to showcase some of your favourites!

Everyone is welcome to attend, registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis. There is no cost, however there is a donation box if you want to help offset the cost of the food.

Chinese Potluck Supper

First Saturday of the month - 6 pm

The first Saturday of the month the Chinese group at Divine Word is having a potluck style dinner (don't feel like you have to bring something, there's always lots!)

Everyone is welcome to attend, just stop by and say "Ni-how!"

Chinese Fellowship

Every Saturday (except when we have potluck supper) - 7:00 pm

On the first Saturday of the month, we have our potluck supper together - but every other Saturday at 6:00 pm we have a Chinese Fellowship gathering at our church.

It's a chance to meet new friends and discuss topics that are important to your life. It doesn't matter how much (if anything) you know about God and the Bible, everyone is welcome to join us!

PS - usually the discussion begins in English with Pastor Halldorson, and continues in Mandarin.

If your children would like to learn more about Jesus and God's Word in a safe, fun environment with dedicated teachers and lots of creative activities and great songs - bring them this Sunday and we can enrol them in our Sunday School program!

VBS free Kids Camp

Following the holiday Monday every August

Mark your calendars - Tuesday through Friday, the first week of August (following the holiday Monday) is VBS at Divine Word.
